Organizing the Company Workflow

The organization of your company’s workflow is an essential part of optimizing your business. The process can seem intimidating, but it can be completed. Your team can be more productive with some planning and a few tricks.

A workflow is the sequence of steps necessary to complete a specific task. It could be sequential, parallel, or an amalgamation of both. It includes mandatory tasks as well as nice to haves which need to be completed to meet a specific final goal. It also includes the tools, resources and people required to complete these tasks. A well-organized workflow can ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. It also helps employees focus on the most important aspects of their work.

Software can automate the workflow. This is especially useful in customer service, where it can reduce the time it takes to respond to a request. Automation can also reduce human errors, which can enhance the quality of the product.

A workflow can be divided into folders on the dashboard to help you locate and manage your processes. For example the sales workflow could be divided into various folders for each brand or product line. Navigate to the workflow dashboard and click Create. Name the folder, and then select the checkbox next to the business unit you’d like redirected here to assign to. To change the business unit assigned to a workflow hover over it and click More > Select the business unit.
